Wellness Workshops
Health and Wellness workshops are a fun and engaging way to influence workplace culture by promoting habits that benefit employee well-being. My workshops and cooking demos include education on how to implement food and behavior changes to create healthier, happier co-workers. I utilize an interactive approach to facilitate active learning and individual empowerment. This approach allows participants to engage in discussion with other attendees through various exercises and brainstorming. Participants also receive valuable handouts to take with them, furthering their knowledge after the workshop. The typical workshop is one hour in length and may be presented at multiple times to allow for the varying employee schedules.

Wellness Workshops with Lecture & Slide Presentation
Revive & Thrive: Self Care Habits for the Busy Professional
This workshop is a stand-alone course highlighting five areas of self-care and important steps to take to immediately to boost your energy, eliminate brain fog, and feel more productive in your professional and personal life.
The following three workshops can be delivered as a three part series or as individual workshops. I typically recommend them as a series because the topics build on one another.
1. Eating for Energy: Fuel Up Your Life
Discover which foods are depleting your energy and learn how to choose energy-boosting foods to power you through your day.
2. Bittersweet: Understanding Sugar & Kicking the Habit
Rather than denying your sweet tooth, learn how to understand your sugar cravings, discover what sugar is doing to your body, and find creative ways to appease your appetite with healthier sweet options.
3. Weigh Less, Live More: A Non-Diet Approach to Weight Loss
Learn about the biggest contributing factors to weight gain in our society, then find out how to shift your mindset so that weight loss actually becomes secondary to creating a pleasurable life.


Cooking Demonstrations
In addition to wellness workshops, cooking demonstrations are a fun way to provide employees with knowledge about cooking and meal preparation. My cooking demos can happen anywhere from a home kitchen to a conference room, auditorium, or library, as long as I have access to 1-2 tables and electrical outlets. I bring my own heat-safe tabletop cooking equipment and prepare a dish on the spot! Demos are organized to include interactive discussion, sampling, recipes, and educational handouts when relevant.
